- Open the Settings app.
- Enter the Apps and Notifications section.
- Enter the App info section.
- Enter the section dedicated to the specific application.
- Expand the Advanced section.
- Enter the Open by default section.
- Tap or click the clear defaults button that is located beneath the header Other defaults;
- Tap or click the Open supported links button which shall open a drop-down menu.
- Tap or click the Don't open in this app option.
This solution were based upon what one should do to clear the 'application linking' defaults of a specific application on a smartphone of Google’s Pixel range that runs version 10 of Google's customized version of Android.
