A Disk Read Error occurred: What does the error message





In relevant forums is much debate if the error message "A Disk Read Error occurred" is named. A patent solution has not yet been called, so we try to help with a solution approaches, if the hard drive does not want to really you at this point.

Do you have your Windows 7 installation DVD yet at hand, you should place these times before you start your PC and can go through a startup repair. This may take a little, sometimes it takes even several attempts.

bootrec / fixmbr
bootrec / fixboot
